3D Web Experiences

3D & Immersive Web Experiences

Most 3D websites are beautiful on a MacBook and unusable on a phone. Ours are not. We budget every scene by triangle count, texture memory and draw call, ship progressive fallbacks for low-power devices, and respect prefers-reduced-motion. The result is a genuinely immersive experience that does not cost you mobile conversions.

In short

We build interactive 3D web experiences with Three.js and WebGL — product configurators, spatial storytelling and scroll-driven scenes that still load fast on a mid-range phone.

What you get

Exactly what's included

Interactive 3D product viewers

Rotate, zoom and configure real products in the browser with no app install.

Scroll-driven scenes

Narrative experiences where 3D geometry responds to scroll position and pointer input.

WebGL shader work

Custom GLSL for materials, particle systems and post-processing effects.

Performance budgeting

Triangle, texture and draw-call budgets set before modelling begins, verified on real devices.

Graceful degradation

Static high-quality renders served to devices that cannot handle live 3D, so nobody sees a blank canvas.

Accessibility fallbacks

Full keyboard navigation and a reduced-motion path that disables camera animation.

How it runs

The engagement

  1. 01

    Concept

Storyboard the experience and agree what 3D actually earns its place doing.

  2. 02

    Asset pipeline

Model optimisation, Draco compression and KTX2 texture packing to keep payloads small.

  3. 03

    Prototype

A rough interactive build on a real phone before we invest in visual polish.

  4. 04

    Production

Shader authoring, lighting and interaction logic.

  5. 05

    Optimisation

Profiling on mid-range Android until the frame budget holds at 60fps.

  6. 06

    Integration

Wiring the scene into your site with lazy loading so it never blocks first paint.

“The 3D WebGL interface they built transformed our brand prestige and our conversion rate. Their attention to sub-second performance and zero layout shift is unmatched.”

Questions

3D Web Experiences, answered

Not if it is built correctly. We lazy-load the 3D bundle so it never blocks first paint, compress geometry with Draco and textures with KTX2, and serve a static render to devices that cannot run WebGL smoothly. Our 3D pages hold the same Core Web Vitals targets as our standard builds.

Yes. Every WebGL scene we ship is profiled on mid-range Android hardware, not just flagship devices. Where a phone cannot sustain the frame budget we automatically fall back to a pre-rendered image sequence, so the page always looks intentional.

It depends almost entirely on asset complexity — a single hero scene is a very different engagement from a full configurator with custom shaders. We scope it after understanding what the 3D needs to do commercially, then quote a fixed price for that scope.

It is neutral on its own — Google does not rank a page higher for containing WebGL. What matters is that the 3D does not damage your performance scores and that the page still ships real HTML content for crawlers. We build both, so the 3D becomes an engagement and differentiation asset rather than an SEO liability.
